Your First Visit:
At your scheduled appointment time, you will need to complete an Intake form which includes
general contact information & medical history intake.
It will be helpful to bring your list of medications and any supplements you take so that we can evaluate your case thoroughly,
as we develop a comprehensive treatment plan for you.
You will also recieve your first acupuncture or asian bodywork treatment same day.
Your treatment plan will give you an idea about how long you can expect to see treatment results, and will be given a
suggested amount of treatment to continue before your next evaluation. It is important to follow your treatment plan, keep
your follow-up visits in order for Acupuncture to be successful in treating your health condition/s.
If something comes up, and you need to change an appointment time or day, please stick to your scheduled week, if at all
possible, to keep within the guidelines of your treatment plan for best results.
What about the needles?
Most people are apprehensive and some dont like to look at them. On first visit, if you tell me you do not like the idea
of needles, I can show you on my own arm or on an area of your body like the hand or forearm where you feel most comfortable
to try it. If you absolutely insist you do not want needles, I will develop an effective treatment plan for you, without the
use of needles.
All needles are hair thin, but vary in size and thickness.
They are sterilized and dated and thrown into a sharps box after one use only.
I completed a Clean Needle Technique Course back in April 2001 to comply with national standards for U.S.A. certification.
